Thanks to SnapTax, a free app created by TurboTax, you’ll now be able to file taxes from your iPhone or Android-based mobile phone. The app allows users to file Form 1040EZ as well as a state income
tax return. After you take a picture of your W-2, the app imports all of your tax information into the electronic form–it then prompts you to answer questions, such as your filing status. Finally, the app allows you to preview your tax return before filing. The cost of filing your return via SnapTax is $14.99.
