Trump Supporter Seen On Video Being Punched By Black Security Officer Terminated From Her Hospital Job

The White Donald Trump supporter who participated in the pro-Trump riot and was punched in the face by a Black security officer claiming self-defense has been terminated from her hospital job, according to Newsweek.

The Massachusetts woman, Therese Duke, lost her hospital job after her daughter, Helena, posted a video clip on Twitter that identified her at a pro-Trump “rally” the night before the riot that occurred at the U.S. Capitol on January 6th.

Helena also revealed that other family members attended the riot last week.

Duke was working at UMass Memorial at the time of the riot and when notified of her participation in the riot, the hospital took to Twitter to announce that an investigation was underway.

“We have been made aware that one or more of our employees may have been involved in the violence that took place at our Nation’s Capitol. We strongly condemn such behavior, if true, and have initiated an investigation.”

Then UMass Memorial reported in a follow-up tweet that the “caregiver” is “no longer a part of our organization.”

“Over the past 24 hours we have received numerous expressions of concern through social media regarding a UMass Memorial caregiver who many have been involved in this week’s violent event at the nation’s capitol. The employee in question is no longer a part of our organization.”
