Andrew Bachelor is an anomaly.
Better known on the interwebs as King Bach, the 26-year-old auteur and comedian has become the undisputed king of Vine. His six-second videos that are made with no budget have turned him into one of the platform’s biggest stars. He has turned his aspirations into serious moves, as Bach has had roles on Showtime’s House of Lies with Don Cheadle, and reoccurring appearances on Adult Swim’s Black Jesus, MTV’s Wild ‘n Out and Fox’s The Mindy Project. In addition to that are his future movie star plans in the form of Mike Epps’ Meet the Blacks and Hulu’s Resident Advisors.
With over a billion loops (times a video has been played) on his Vine page, Bach is known all over the social media landscape. Partly due to his own design and control, the Canadian-born, Jamaican-raised son of accountants graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management in 2010. Fate brought him to Los Angeles after he dropped out in his last semester at New York’s acclaimed film academy. It was there that King Bach continued to hone his craft and dominate screens all over the world.
Throughout his videos, he partners with celebrities (Justin Bieber, Keke Palmer, Floyd Mayweather) and fellow internet personalities (Quinta B, Alphacat, DeStorm) – all to hilarious results.
