National Voter’s Registration Day was yesterday and the Congressional Black Caucus used it to launch a new voter’s protection initiative.
The initiative called “For The People” alerts voters about “voter suppression efforts
” such as restrictive voter identification.The initiative hopes to provide Americans with a list of the necessary documents that would be needed at certain ballot locations for a person to vote. It also hopes to educate voters on registration requirements for all states.
