The payments reportedly include $1.5 million in May 2023, $260,000 later that year, and slightly more than $4,000 in December 2024. Meanwhile, her attorney, Adam Streisand, described their petition as a “public-relations stunt to smear her in the tabloid press,” reports Yahoo. Ledward Boseman has also pointed to efforts to preserve and expand Chadwick’s creative legacy, including launching the Chadwick Boseman Foundation for the Arts and the licensing of his play Deep Azure at Shakespeare’s Globe in London. The Black Panther star died in August 2020 at the age of 43 from complications of colon cancer after keeping his diagnosis private for four years.
