CNN’s Don Lemon Has a Message for White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany: ‘Girl, Bye’

The tenure of outgoing President Donald Trump is approaching its end in approximately 4 weeks and the antics that have been a staple, particularly with the press, are coming to an end. Along with that, the likes of White House press secretary, Kayleigh McEnamy, and her constant criticism of the media, will cease as well,

Her former colleague, CNN’s Don Lemon

, is fine with that.

According to The Hill, an exasperated Lemon, speaking about a recent White House press briefing that McEnamy had recently conducted, criticized her for spreading misinformation and chastising her because she was on the side of the media when she was a CNN commentator.

“So much disinformation coming from the podium. It’s just… it’s every day. It’s like, comes out, reads propaganda.

Talks about what the media is doing, criticizes the media, this is what you should be covering. I think we got this. You used to sit here on the set with us.  I think we got it! When you sat here with us, you thought we had it. You were happy to be here. But now we don’t know what we’re doing? Girl, bye.”

The Daily Beast reported that McEnany had spent time not responding to questions about President Donald Trump’s refusal to concede the presidential election, even though the Electoral College has made President-elect Joe Biden’s victory official.

“The president is still involved in ongoing litigation related to the election,” McEnany said at one point. “Yesterday’s vote was one step in the constitutional process. I will refer you to the campaign for more on that.”

When McEnany finished her diatribe against the media and accused them of spreading biased coverage as she left the podium, CNN White House correspondent Jim Acosta questioned her by asking, “Isn’t it hypocritical of you to accuse others of disinformation when you spread it every day?”
