Well, Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney has really gotten himself in hot water throughout his campaign with insights and comments that have raised more than an eyebrow. His uber-conservative stance on government aid, foreign affairs and minorities have prompted everything from side eyes to utter outrage, and the release of a video featuring comments he made to wealthy contributors in Florida didn’t help. Take a look at five such gaffes in his campaign that have not helped his image, as his and Obama’s voter support gap narrows. (The latest Reuters/Ipsos poll shows Obama holding 48% support from likely voters to the GOP opponent’s 43%. )

  • Has Mitt Romney taken time to step down from his high horse and talk to someone who works, pays taxes, and gets NO public assistance? They may have a hard time making ends meet. I am offended that he thinks he has the right to judge. Sit down guy and talk to the real people that make up the majority of the population.
