Industrial Bank was founded in 1934 with just six employees and $192,000 in assets. The bank manages $363.9 million in assets, making it the largest minority-owned commercial bank in Washington, D.C.
Industrial Bank, which specializes in retail banking and residential and commercial lending, recently added lockbox and collection services for the District of Columbia’s traffic and parking violations.
On August 20, 2009, Industrial Bank will celebrate its 75th anniversary.
