Founded by Herb Washington in 1980, H.L.W. Fast Track Inc. is the nation’s largest African American-owned McDonald’s franchisee. Washington owns over 21 McDonald’s restaurants throughout Ohio and Pennsylvania. In 2008, the company’s revenues were $48 million–up 18.5% from the previous year.
