One Word That Describes You: Ambitious

What does being one of the BEMM 100 Men of Distinction mean to you?

I’m always proud of recognition from respectable brands since the work of entrepreneurs and outliers can easily be overlooked.

What are some examples of how you turned struggle into success?

I was born and raised in Camden, New Jersey, where struggle is inescapable and it is a battle to overcome challenges due to a lack of resources and opportunity. Now I’m in a position to educate the masses while giving back to humanity.

What is an important quality you look for in your relationships with others?

Respect and trust, which are hard to gain but easy to lose.

What are some immediate projects you are working on?

On Fathers Day, June 18th, we will host our 4th Annual Fit Fathers Day Celebration which encourages dads of all ages to become more involved in the nutritional aspects of parenting.

Automotive Rhythms is currently set to launch the 3rd Annual ART-of-Motion exhibit which utilizes the skill sets of visuals artists who manifest their visions directly on cars, SUVs, and motorcycles.

What is the best advice you ever received?

My father always told me that networking is the key to business success. To this day I email every new contact from an event or meeting with a personal message and recap of our conversation.

What is some advice you have for other men who want to make a difference?

Determination has to be followed by action. We all have ideas, creations, and innovative thoughts, but what will become of them if there is no execution?

How do you prep for an important business meeting and/or event?

I’m a writer by trade so research is my forte. No matter the subject matter, I will thoroughly review the material from various sources until it becomes cognitively familiar.

As a busy Modern Man, how do you unwind on vacation? Share a story about your best vacation.

Ha! I travel incessantly and mostly to indigenous places. Every quarter I go on a week-long excursion and for my birthday I venture out on what I call Nomadic Journeys. Whether it’s Japan, Singapore, or India, the Far East satisfies my soul the most along with Jamaica. The most energizing was a trip with my wife to the island of Phuket off of Thailand. From delectable curry dishes to pure clear waters and fresh veggies and fruits, the place is pretty magical. Oh, Brazil for Carnival was another favorite.

If you could travel and stay anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?

Probably Costa Rica because of their organic and earth-strong lifestyle habits. Plus I can put my Spanish to great use.

What is your “Extraordinary Impact?”

Sometimes you must absence yourself from the world and focus on self, then return strong with lessons, teachings, and knowledge. I believe we are here for a time and purpose to give back to humanity with the wisdom ascertained from our paths of individuation.

Anything else you’d like to say?

Eat clean, stay active, and continuously energize your life. One Love!
