TMZ has reported that actor Lou Myers has died at the age of 76.
Myers is best known as Mr. Vernon Gaines on “The Cosby Show” spinoff, “A Different World.”
The actor died on Feb. 19 at Charleston Medical Center in West Virginia after undergoing a heart-related emergency and falling into a coma. He was hospitalized in December for pneumonia.
Myers was chairman of Global Business Incubation which helps urban small businesses and he was chairman of the Lou Myers Scenario Motion Picture Institute/Theatre.
