This year, Forbes released a list of the happiest and unhappiest jobs in America. Some of the list will shock you. Check out BlackEnterprise.com‘s favorite few from the list:

Executive Chef

Duties: The executive chef is the person in charge of the kitchen. Their responsibilities include ensure that dishes are served on schedule, modify and create new menu items, and sometimes order supplies and report to the head of the establishment.

Salary: $40,630

Education: Culinary art school and restaurant experience

Accountant

Duties: If you’re into math and numbers then this job could be perfect for you. Accountants prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries, recommend financial actions, as well as reconcile financial discrepancies.

Salary: $69,850.

Education: A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a business related field.

Construction Manager

Duties: Construction managers schedule projects, budget time for deadlines, review labor requirements, and obtain necessary permits and licenses.

Salary: $82,790.

Education: Entry level positions require at minimum an associate’s degree and an average of five years of work experience.

Human Resource Manager

Duties: Human resources managers plan, direct, and coordinate the administrative functions of an organization. They oversee the recruiting, interviewing, and hiring of new staff; consult with top executives on strategic planning; and serve as a link between an organization’s management and its employees.

Salary: $99,180

Education: A bachelor’s degree and one to five years of experience in a related field.

Real Estate Agent

Duties: Real estate brokers and sales agents help clients buy, sell, and rent properties. Brokers and agents do the same type of work, but brokers are licensed to manage their own real estate businesses. Sales agents must work with a broker.

Salary: $42,680

Education: A high school diploma, or equivalent, along with a real estate license.
