Latino Trendsetters and Influencers Unite for Hispanicize

The gathering of the most influential Latinos at Miami’s InterContinental hotel, April 4-8, 2016

On April 4-8, 2016, at Miami’s InterContinental Hotel, Latino newsmakers and trendsetters will unite for a weekend of empowerment, inspiration and networking for the 7th annual Hispanicize. Founded by Manny Ruiz, Hispanicize is the largest premier event for Latinos in digital content creation, journalism, marketing, entertainment and tech entrepreneurship. This event proves to be the ultimate launch pad for creative endeavors, new products, technologies, marketing campaigns, films, books and more targeting Latinos in the U.S. and beyond.

“We’re the only event of its kind that fully integrates multiple industries led by digital, social media, journalism, marketing, and entertainment (music and film festivals),” says Ruiz. “We’ve essentially built a bridge and a point of connection for business, for synergies and for collaboration between these multiple industries by giving them stand-alone tracks throughout the event, while enabling each of them to have full access to each other, leading to a lot of business transactions.”

This yearly event is not exclusive to Latinos, all are invited to participate. The purpose, however, is for Latinos to dictate their own narrative while gaining access to opportunities. “Hispanicize is an empowerment and inspiration platform,” enforces Ruiz.

Hispanicize represents the best opportunities for influencers that are really ‘moving the needle’ with brands, non-profit organizations, political organizations and with entertainment. “This event represents an opportunity for us to find our voice, to find unity, and be able to make our numbers count for more than just the opportunities that we represent for others,” he affirms.

Attendees of the event can expect a snapshot of every trend and trendsetter that you need to be aware of that is on a mission to impact the U.S. economically. There will be a plethora of case study sessions, professional development sessions, hands-on workshops and fireside chats. The sessions are all meant to empower, while providing actionable/practical tips to apply to your careers.

In addition to the learning and networking of Hispanicize, attendees may also take advantage of The Latino Perfect Pitch Competition, presented by Wells Fargo, where participants will have the opportunity to present their business plans to a panel of expert judges while competing for a $5,000 grand prize.  The deadline to enter the competition is March 7, 2016.
