More Boss Moves: Floyd Mayweather a Licensed Promoter in Nevada

Undefeated boxer already has licenses in Washington and New York

According to The Guardian, boxer Floyd Mayweather is now a licensed boxing promoter in the state of Nevada. Mayweather can essentially promote his own fights in his home state.

The Nevada Athletic Commission voted to grant the welterweight champion a promoter’s license. Mayweather is a licensed promoter in Washington and New York already and the CEO of Mayweather Promotions, Leonard Ellerbe said the boxer plans to seek licenses in other states.

According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Ellerbe said the company knows what it takes to be successful and will continue to grow the sport of boxing.
