In 2005, while hosting the Academy Awards, comedian Chris Rock said this when speaking of the great and yet overexposed (at the time) thespian Jude Law:

“Who is Jude Law? Why is he in every movie I have seen for the last four years? He’s in everything…Even the movies he’s not in, if you look at the credits he made cupcakes or something.”

That’s how I feel about Kevin Hart right now.

  4. Wow… that is the biggest hater statement i’ve heard this year so far… We complain and protest about not seeing our people, our comedians getting the exposure that they deserve. We state how we want them to have the starring role in movies and actually being the funny star instead of the exploited token “black guy”. Then when someone who doesn’t come from a famous family has worked from the bottom up… from Soul Plane to selling out Madison Square Garden… then we have a problem with that too. Crabs in a barrel! Kevin Hart is hilarious… instead of criticizing him for being overexposed, congratulate the man on what is really just the beginning of an impressive, successful career that few obtain. We just can’t be proud for each other… it disgusts me… smh.

First it’s no exposure…then it’s over exposure. Make up your d*** mind.

  6. Michael Elliott says:

He is no different than Martin Lawrence, Eddie Murphy, Chris Rock, Steve Harvey, Cedric and many other comedians. This is just his time. Someone else will come out and we will be asking the same question.
