Any time of year I can find things to love about every corner in Paris. But Spring in Paris calls for delightful discoveries of hidden courtyards, blossoming gardens, city fairs and even the architecture comes alive. Sure the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame Cathedral and Louvre Museum are a must see, but with longer days and warmer temperatures among the beautiful cobblestone streets of Paris you can take pleasure in many sunny outdoor activities.
Cycle through Paris Tour
Cycling through Paris is an incredible way to tour some of the cities’ most charming streets you might have missed on foot, metro or bus. Bikeabouttours has a variety of tour options which takes you beyond the typical Paris — local markets, wine shops, patisseries and more.
Indulge in Paris Outdoor Cafe Culture
Countless museums, historic buildings and monuments aren’t the only attractions in Paris. Parisians have that Je ne Sais Quoi about them. People watching is a lifestyle in Paris, and one of my top 3 favorite things to do.
Enjoy an Outdoor Festival or City Fair
In June, the Paris Jazz Festival at the floral gardens at Bois de Vincennes begins in the outskirts of the city. For about 6-weeks you can enjoy talented jazz performers on an open air stage, while picnicking in this postcard worthy botanical garden.
City Fairs are also a great way to mingle with the locals. In April, The Paris Spring Farmers’ Fair offers organic and/or homegrown food available for sampling or purchase, events and activities held in the heart of Paris.
