[RECAP] ‘Leadership Her Way’ Event Continues in Washington D.C.

Empowerment and leadership are necessary for every entrepreneurial endeavor, and this group of inspirational millennial women know how to do both. With the second installment of Leadership Her Way kicking off June 6, in a cozy loft in Washington D.C., #LeadHerWay founder, Sherry Williams, has planned yet another informative and fun filled day of engagement for young ambitious women.

LeadHerWay is a “sister-circle” focused on women-supporting-women as they navigate their life and career moves. “We are about creating value,” says the organization via their website.  “We are about quality.  We are about momentum.”

According to Her Agenda, while there, attendees had the chance to mingle with some of today’s emerging entrepreneurs, as they provided insight in their respective areas of expertise. The panels focused on rediscovering personal genius, branding, and what it really takes to gain financial freedom.

The leadership panels and presentations featured women from all backgrounds with niche areas of expertise. Emmelie De La Cruz, founder of the Branding Muse, Tonya Rapley, of My Fab Finance, Emilie Aries, of Bossed Up, Rhonesha Byng, founder of  Her Agenda, and several other female, small business owners, were present to share their wealth of knowledge.

Her Agenda contributor, Chasity Cooper, wrote, in her recap of the event, that “it was great to hear each of these young women share their lessons learned but, more importantly, how fearless they were in putting themselves out there.” She added,”from understanding the power of social media, to knowing how to tell your story clearly and in a timely fashion, these ladies shared amazing insights that left all attendees ready to get to work”.
