TripAdvisor Reveals World’s Best Hotels for 2016
TripAdvisor, a travel website providing reviews of travel-related content, released its list of the 25 best hotels across the globe. “The world’s top 10 hotels are all committed to service and quality, and they have five out of five bubble ratings on TripAdvisor,” said company spokeswoman Julie Cassetina, in a statement released to CNN.
“These properties are providing more than just a bed for travelers; they’ve gone above and beyond to deliver a memorable experience for their guests, which makes all the difference,” Cassetina said.
Beyond the global category, TripAdvisor also compiled lists of ‘Top Travelers’ Choice’ hotels in the U.S., the best bargain and luxury properties, as well as the best service at B&B’s & Inns. So what does it take to make it as the #1 hotel in the world? Travelers say, Umaid Bhawan Palace Jodhpur in Jodhpur, India, is a “A living dream. Truly a magical and fascinating experience. Majestic architecture and intricate detail.” The Shinta Mani Resort, in Siem Reap, Cambodia, was ranked as #2 and travelers say the hotel is known for its “beauty and serenity. The staff are, to a person, happy, willing to help in any way and creative about how they help.”
Bellevue Syrene, Sorrento, Italy, landed at the #3 spot and travelers say: “Elegant, breezy and relaxing. A beautiful hotel in a stunning location with great amenities and staff.” When it comes to service and food, Hanoi La Siesta Hotel & Spa, Hanoi, Vietnam, travelers say, “We were totally impressed with the service, the room and the food. We would give it 10 stars if TripAdvisor had that many.” Travelers recognized the Achtis Hotel in Afitos, Greece, for its amazing staff and service,“It’s like coming home and finding that you have the staff to look after your every whim. There truly is nothing that the staff will not do to make your stay perfect.”
