ABFF Hosts Empire Season Finale Watch Event

ABFF Hosts Empire Season Finale Watch Event

TV’s hottest new show “Empire” comes to an end with a two-hour season finale on Wednesday, March 18. And the American Black Film Festival (ABFF) will host a watch party in Brooklyn, NY at Bedford Hall to commemorate the day and the addition of star Taraji P. Henson as the newly named celebrity ambassador of the 19th Annual ABFF taking place June 11-14 in New York City.

Ratings for “Empire” have steadily risen to unexpected levels since its season premiere on FOX making it network TV’s biggest new show. The hip hop musical drama starring Henson, Terrence Howard, Byshere Gray, Jussie Smollett, and Trai Byers chronicles the Lyon family’s dreams of becoming a publicly traded company. And the personal turmoil experienced along the path to reaching their family dream.

After hosting a successful February watch party to usher in the new season of BET’s hit show “Being Mary Jane,” ABFF follows up on that success with a finale party for “Empire.” But space is filling fast. To RSVP for the event email RSVP@Thefilmlife.com.

For a chance to meet Taraji P. Henson at this year’s ABFF, register at ABFF.com.
