Daz, a hip-hop artist and member of group Tha Dogg Pound, told TMZ that the film will include depictions of Snoop Dogg, Tupac and other West Coast rap heavyweights, along with Suge Knight, Nate Dogg, Kurupt and Warren G. He also reportedly told the media outlet that the title of the film is Dogg Pound 4 Life.

TMZ also reports that Dr. Dre’s son, Curtis Young, will depict his father, but that no actors are confirmed for the roles of Snoop and Ice Cube. Other members of the original cast and producers of Straight Out of Compton are not set to return, as Dr. Dre and Ice Cube won’t be producing the film, however, Daz reportedly told TMZ Ice Cube gave him the idea to make the movie.

Straight Outta Compton, a biopic exploring the rise to fame of West Coast hip-hop group N.W.A., dominated the box office at its debut, raking in $60.2 million—more than the $56.1 million that the studio behind the film, Universal reported—making the hit film the fifth biggest August opening in history and again dominated the box office this weekend with more than $26 million at 3,025 locations for its second run.
