ColorComm Announces 2015 Circle Awards Honorees

Organization will honor eight outstanding women during July conference

ColorComm, a national organization for women in media and communications, announced it’s ColorComm Circle Awards honorees who will be celebrated during its ColorComm Conference July 29-31 in Miami.

The organization’s mission is to connect women with other like-minded professionals to build a strong network of leaders by creating mentor-mentee pairings, business relationships and friendships. Their annual ColorComm Conference brings together hundreds of multicultural woman from across the country, including those hailing from  their chapters in Washington D.C., New York City, Chicago and Atlanta.

CNN veteran journalist Lisa Ling will serve as the keynote speaker at the awards ceremony July 29, with Emmy award-winning journalist and entrepreneur Sheila Brooks serving as the mistress of ceremonies. Guest speakers will include Dr. Johnnetta B. Cole, the director of the National Museum of African Art.

Allison J. Davis, Former NBC Executive Producer and a founder of The National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ)

Christy Haubegger, Executive, Creative Artists Agency and founder of  Latina magazine

Viviana Hurtado, Ph.D. Bilingual Journalist and Hispanic Market Strategy

Jill Kelly, Chief Communications Officer, DigitasLBi

Michelle Norris, Host and Special Correspondent, NPR

Lisa Garcia Quiroz, Chief Diversity Officer, Time Warner, Inc.

Tiffany Smith-Anoa’I, Senior Vice President, CBS Entertainment
