The Greater Charleston Business Alliance is co-hosting their 2015 annual meeting with the South Carolina African American Chamber of Commerce from Sept. 23 to Sept. 25 in Charleston, South Carolina.
The groups will have a very infamous speaker who has been fodder for satire—and favored among voters— since his jump into the ring to compete to represent the Republican party as its 2016 presidential candidate: Donald Trump.
Small business owners, entrepreneurs, corporate executives, and legislators are expected to attend the event, as well as buying organizations.
“From the dynamic speakers and exciting presentations, to insider tips that can help solidify rewarding contracts, the Greater Charleston Business Alliance offers connections and solutions to overcome barriers to business growth and development,” said South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, in an endorsement letter, according to a news release.
Other speakers include Karen Finney, strategic communications adviser and senior spokesperson for Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. North Charleston Mayor Keith Summey and Charleston Mayor Joseph P. Riley will also be in attendance, along with Charleston city and county governmental representatives.
