In a new 30-second ad called “Character,” John Glenn, the third American in space and the first to orbit the moon says “Barack Obama has earned my vote, and my trust.”
“Growing up in Ohio,” Glenn continues, “you learn to size up a person by their character. And that’s why I’m supporting President Barack Obama.”
Glenn’s new ad is aimed at Ohioans. Glenn represented Ohio in the U.S. Senate from 1974 to 1999. Obama awarded Glenn the Presidential Medal Of Freedom in May.
