The one and only Oprah Winfrey is set to deliver the commencement address at Harvard University on Thursday afternoon, The Associated Press reports.
The elite university’s 362nd commencement kicked off Thursday morning with degree awarding ceremonies. Later, Winfrey and Harvard President Drew Faust were scheduled to address attendees of the afternoon exercises.
Faust has called Winfrey, Forbes’ 11th most powerful woman in the world last year, one of the great American success stories. The former daytime talk show queen has a net worth of $2.7 billion.
