According to Radio.com, Rick Ross did not make it to his scheduled performance at Detroit’s HOT 107.5 Summer Jamz 17 concert at Chene Park Amphitheater on Saturday night (June 21). According to concert promoter The Right Productions, Ross was blocked by “100 individuals†that would not allow him and his entourage to enter the venue. Rumors have been started that rapper Trick Trick was behind this.
“This issue didn’t happen within Chene Park; it happened outside,†said David Rudolph, a spokesperson for The Right Productions. “And it’s unfortunate that this was a tactic to prevent another artist performing.â€
Ross had previous problems in Detroit when his tour bus was robbed. Cash, clothing and jewelry were taken in 2012.
