Snoop Lion’s ‘No Guns Allowed’ Shows Change


Snoop Dogg, er, I mean, Snoop Lion, has turned over a new leaf and his music is showing it.

The rapper has recorded a song that promotes a peaceful environment after years of sometimes doing the opposite.

The song, ‘No Guns Allowed,’ has a reggae sound and the hook goes, ‘No guns allowed in here tonight, we’re gonna have a free-for-all, no fight.” The peaceful anthem is off the upcoming Snoop Lion album, ‘Reincarnated.’

Lion, formerly known as Snoop Doggy Dogg, then Snoop Dogg states, “To me, the Lion is the growth of Snoop Dogg, me growing into the next phase of my musical career, the next phase of my life.'”

“To me it’s not about record sales, so I believe I’m going to do it whenever I want to. So I’m not doing this to create financial gain or money. So it’s fun. So anytime it’s fun, it’s to be done over and over again.
