Thinking about boosting your knowledge of STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics), but not trying to take a traditional course? Well, thanks to the rise of online courses, you can step your STEM game up without exiting your home.

With STEM jobs growing at three times the rate of non-STEM professions in the last decade, according to a U.S. Department of Commerce report, it’s no surprise people are ready to hit the books (or log online) to broaden their knowledge. It’s as easy as clicking a button to begin your STEM journey.

Artificial Intelligence for Robots (free)

Sebastian Thrun, expert instructor and former head of the Google and Stamford driving teams, powers this advanced Udacity course, where students will learn how to program a robotic car.

Building a Mobile Strategy ($20)

Offered on Thursday, March 21, from 2 to 3 p.m., the General Assembly course examines approaches to mobile strategy ranging from mobile first to native apps.
