On Thursday, Oct. 15 from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. EST, BlackEnterprise.com held the #BEChat2015 Twitter Chat with U.S. Army Vet Archie Nettles.

The chat was moderated by BlackEnterprise.com and hosted by Black Enterprise Senior Editor of Small Business, Carolyn Brown. During the dynamic chat, Nettles and Brown discussed how one can effectively carve a path and follow their career goals.

His experience in Afghanistan inspired the soldier to kick-start his career in philanthropy and motivational speaking. His motto to live by is: Educate, Equip, and Empower. The army vet also advised taking the time to research the industry an individual is seeking a career in, and to prepare by reading books or having a mentor.
