Google+ Unveils New Look a Day Before Facebook’s Newsfeed Announcement

Search giant's social networking site gets a redesign

It looks as though Google+ is trying to beat Facebook to the punch when it comes to unveiling new features for their respective social networking platforms. The company announced in a Google+ post on Wednesday that it will gradually start to roll out new features for its profile and pages.

In addition to making it easier for users to edit their information and providing bigger cover photos, Google+ is adding a “Local” reviews tab where users can highlight their favorite restaurants. You can also choose to hide the tab via your settings.
