[RECAP] Innov8tiv Hosts Networking and Elevator Pitch Event for Millennial Women


On Tuesday Feb. 24 from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. in Brooklyn, Innov8tiv hosted the event Grow Your Brand: A Networking and Elevator Pitch Event for millennial women, where leaders in the tech industry shared tips to help other entrepreneurs expand their businesses and brands.

The event was hosted by Janel Martinez, Multimedia Journalist and Founder of +EIC and Ariel Lopez, CEO and founder of 2020Shift. There weer also three pitch coaches present, including Janell Hazelwood, Associate Managing Editor at Black Enterprise and blogger with My Two Cents, Eddie Washington, Business Development Producer for General Assembly, Anthony Frasier, Co-Founder of The Phat Startup, and Chana Ewing, Founder of littlebigGirl + CO.

Women of color received the chance to meet and connect with other innovators, along with practicing their elevators pitches. The affair was targeted for women in business who need help in advancing their ideas, and those who want to learn how to pitch their businesses and how to market themselves on social media.
