This is definitely a great menswear look translated for women. I love the comfortable, yet sleek slouchiness of the pants and the tie detail on the shirt. I also love the mixtures of navy, wine and cobalt blue.

The tailoring of this cropped blazer is definitely an eye catcher. I’ve always been a fan of a great blazer that you can simply toss on with any dress or skirt to dress it up or give it a different feel. I also love the metallic contrast of the skirt and the idea of adding a pocket scarf to a woman’s jacket. It’s not a new idea, just not one I’d readily considered until seeing these pieces put together.

The mixture of knits and textures was what grabbed me with this ensemble. I also love the patterns and bow accent on the blouse. This is yet another example that can be used when putting together an outfit for a business casual look, by pairing knits with printed silks.
