New Technology Steel L.L.C., operational until January 2009, was the largest minority- and woman-owned steel processing service center in the U.S. The Southfield, Michigan-based firm specializes in slitting, pickling, and blanking. Products include hot-rolled, cold-rolled, galvanized, unexposed, exposed, and stainless steel, among others.

In 2008, the minority supplier reported revenues of $108 million–up 20% from the previous year.
