Thor Construction Inc. is one of the world’s leading black-owned commercial real estate development companies. In just one year, the Minneapolis-based company has climbed 18 places on the BE Industrial/Service Companies list to take over the No. 48 position with $103 million in revenues.

Since its inception, the company has renovated and remodeled many high-profile properties including the Bellagio Hotel & Casino suites and MGM Grand Sky Lofts in Las Vegas; as well as the construction of Target stores throughout Minnesota and the Fort McCoy Barracks in Wisconsin.

Recently, the Minneapolis-based company partnered with Mortonsen Construction to build a new 40,000 seat Minnesota Twins Ballpark. The project, valued at $375 million, is set for completion in 2010.
