Mike Pruitt Honda is the nation’s 40th largest African American-owned auto dealership and Ohio’s second-largest minority-owned auto dealership. In April 2008, the Akron-based company built a new 45,000-square-foot green dealership.

Mike Pruitt is president of the Honda dealer that has more than 51% black ownership. Climbing 27 places on the 2009 BE Auto Dealer list, the dealership grossed $43.6 million in 2008 revenues—up 9% from the previous year.
