Founded in 1987, Harrell Cos. is a partnership between H. Steve Harrell and Ron Swatty. Each year, Harrell and Swatty sell more than 12,000 cars and trucks from their 12 dealerships across metro Atlanta. The Harrell Cos. spends $60 million annually to advertise their automotive enterprise.
The duo earned revenues of $319.7 million in 2008. Despite a 13.3% decline in its sales from 2007, the automotive enterprise remains Atlanta’s largest African American auto dealer.
