Alicia Keys is in full mommy mode these days, and her latest career move of authoring a children’s book is proof.
The fabulous soon-to-be mommy of two stopped by the Live with Kelly and Michael show earlier this week to talk about the release of her new book Blue Moon: From the Journals of Mama Mae and LeeLee (Mama Mae & Lee Lee).
Posting a picture on Instagram of her reading to her 4-year-old son Egypt, the singer wrote:
“Reading has changed my life and is one of the most special times I share with my lil guy Egypt. I hope my new book, Blue Moon, adds some magic to moments with your little ones! 😘 All we have to do is show them that everything is possible cause we have all the magic we need inside of us.”
Blue Moon is Keys first volume in a series of books that she coming out with, and she serves as both the author and illustrator of the book. Her second book in the series will be called Mookey.
