Golf & Tennis Challenge: Day 2 – Fitness, Finances and More Fun

One fun-filled day down, two more to go! We’re really just getting started. There’s so much in store for this year’s Golf & Tennis Challenge attendees at the PGA National Resort & Spa today.

Start your day with breakfast at the Pavilion or opt for a power walk and run. Be in the hotel lobby at 7AM if you’d like to join your fellow attendees and get a rush of adrenaline to get your day under way.

Social golf and tournament golf are both available this morning in the Golf Course Staging Area. This presents the perfect opportunity to network with fellow attendees while enjoying time on the green.

Tennis lovers can head over to the Tennis Accuracy Challenge where your skills will be tested with a little friendly competition on the court. Sticking with the theme of tennis competition, Competitive Tournament Tennis will begin at 8AM sharp at the Health & Racquet Club for those interested in seeing how your skills measure up.

If you’re looking for fitness fun, today is your lucky day. The spin studio at the Health & Racquet Club welcomes you to an intense spin class beginning at 7:30AM. The bikes are first come, first served, so rise, shine, and grind. Many other fitness classes will be available throughout the course of the day, including belly dancing, Zumba dance workout, Soca workout, Pilates barre, morning yoga, Hip-Hop dance workout, and boot camp boxing. Check your BE Events app to stay on top of class locations and times.

Note: If you haven’t done so already, now’s the time to download the BE Events App! Available on iOS, Android, and other smartphones, the app offers live updates throughout the event so you’re always in the know. Use the app to keep track of all the things you’d like to see and do while at the Golf & Tennis Challenge. You can also use it to connect with other attendees, upload the fun you’re having to your preferred social media (use hashtag #BEGT), check the day’s schedule, take notes, and learn about the event’s sponsors.

Beginner golfers, check out the Beginner Golf Academy hosted by Georgia Pacific and located on the Fazio Driving Range. PGA professionals will be there to help you learn the game and assist you with your swing.

At any moment during this jam-packed day, don’t hesitate to get a little rest and relaxation at Spa Rejuvenation. The PGA National Resort is home to a world-renowned spa where you can enjoy many luxurious amenities, including massages, facials, salon services, and Waters of the World therapies. If you’re looking for more ways to relax and socialize, AT&T is hosting a social lounge all day at St. Andrews. Pop in and check it out.

After you’ve relaxed for a while, it may be the perfect time to try something new. For the first time at the Golf & Tennis Challenge, Black Enterprise introduces archery to the event. This is another first come, first served activity, so sign up early!
