New Orleans, known for attracting thousands of tourists to the infamous Bourbon Street during Mardi Gras, hosts more than 100 festivals a year, each festival highlighting the city’s rich music and food culture. When visiting the Big Easy, explore the French Quarter and try a beignet or two, then head over to the Garden District to take photos of beautiful Victorian-style mansions and pristine gardens. Sports fans visiting the city during football season can cheer on the New Orleans Saints at the Superdome.
Most Affordable: Savannah, GA
Step back in time by visiting Savannah, Georgia, which is considered one of the most historic cities in the Southeastern part of the United States. With charming mansions dating back to the Civil War and a beautiful riverfront for rejuvenation, Savannah offers the perfect blend of history and natural beauty. River Street, City Market, and The Pirate’s House are some of the most popular attractions in the city.
Most Enjoyable: Pensacola, FL
If beaches are what are on your mind while vacationing in Florida, Pensacola is a perfect beach destination as it offers calm and tranquil beaches. On the other hand, if you wish to stay away from water and want to explore the culture and heritage of a city, historic downtown Pensacola and the Pensacola Museum of Art should be explored.
