Abroad, a Familiar Name is One Magnate’s Trump Card

Say what you want about Donald Trump, but the guy sure has made a name for himself.

It was reported today that Trump is making a small fortune on putting his name on buildings around the world.

“It’s not even a question of ego,” Trump told The Wall Street Journal Wednesday. “It’s just that my name makes everything more successful.”

The WSJ reported companies have purchased naming rights in places like Turkey, the Philippines and Brazil.

Developers cough up between $5 million and $10 million, the Journal reported according to a source “familiar with Mr. Trump’s business dealings.”
