Baltimore African American Festival: Day Two Highlights


On Sunday, June 22, the African American Festival continued with more food, fun and performances. The day started with gospel inspiration by artists including Deitrick Haddon and more empowerment activities via the Pepsi pavilion.

Black Enterprise hosted more giveaways in their tents, and attendees got to meet and greet with entertainment and business leaders including Laz Alonzo and LaVar Arrington. Chris Spencer even stopped by to putt a little mini-golf.

Music artist Mario, who would perform later in the afternoon, chatted with fans and took photos, and attendees enjoyed more fun at various vendors on the grounds. Singer Johnny Gill wowed the crowd with his hits and Brandy closed the weekend out with an unforgettable performance that included homage to Whitney Houston.
