Morris Chestnut to Play Role on Nurse Jackie

Busy year continues for veteran actor

Morris Chestnut is continuing to keep busy this year with two new roles on the horizon.

The Think Like A Man actor has just been cast in Showtime’s Golden Globe-nominated comedy Nurse Jackie. He, along with Broadway star Marcy Harriell, will join the cast next season, reports Deadline.

Chestnut is set to play Ike Prentiss, a new trauma doctor and former Army medic who served in Iraq and Afghanistan.
