On March 31st, BET will debut a documentary on the making of Lil Wayne’s DEWeezy commercial.
Chris Robinson is the director and Robot Films worked with a “non-profit action sports youth development agency,” Stoked, to create the commercial.
The rapper, who has a deal with soft drink maker, Mountain Dew, is documented making the “DEWeezy” commercial as they worked with 10 teenagers from the New York City area, as well as various industry executives and employees from Mountain Dew.
The making of the commercial with Mountain Dew is slated to air on BET on March 31 at 11:30 PM.
