Media Titan Oprah Winfrey is reportedly throwing her hat in the ring to become one of the new owners of the Los Angeles Clippers.
That is of course, if current, disgraced owner Donald Sterling is successfully forced out by the other owners and the NBA board of governors.
NBA commissioner Adam Silver banned Sterling from NBA related activity for life after audio recordings of a racist rant by the 80-year-old team owner surfaced on TMZ and the website Deadspin.
Oprah, Music Mogul David Geffen and Oracle founder Larry Ellison will reportedly join together in a bid to buy the team if the NBA’s board of governors can oust Sterling.

Others interested in buying the team include Diddy, who even created the hashtag #DiddyBuyTheClippers and Number one pound for pound boxer, Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Former NBA megastar turned Multi Millionaire businessman Magic Johnson’s name has also been floated.
Winfrey has denied interest in buying the team on her own, but her office has confirmed that she is definitely interested in coming on board as an investor.
Donald Sterling purchased the Clippers in 1981 for $13 million when the franchise was still based in San Diego.
He is the NBA’s longest running team owner.
The Clippers franchise which moved to Los Angeles in 1984 is reportedly worth about $800 million today.
