British designer Vivienne Westwood, 71, took jabs at First Lady Michelle Obama during an interview with The New York Times about her newÂ â€śPunk: Chaos to Coutureâ€ť exhibition at the New York Metropolitan Museum.
The designer, who recently voiced her not-so-nice opinion on Dutchess Kate Middleton, was frank with the New York Times.
The New York Times: You must love our first lady, who is famous for recycling her clothes?
Westwood: Donâ€™t talk about her. Itâ€™s dreadful what she wears.
The New York Times: What?
Westwood: I donâ€™t want to talk about it. Really, I canâ€™t. Sheâ€™s a very nice looking lady, but itâ€™s a nonstarter regarding clothes that suit her.
Westwood did have nice things to say about former First lady Jackie Kennedy.
â€śShe was a different matter altogether,â€ť Westwood said. â€śIt just had to suit her and be something that makes a human being more glamorous.â€ť
