Plaxico Burress Ordered to Sell His House

The troubles for Pittsburgh Steelers’ Plaxico Burress just don’t seem to end.

The former Jets and Giants player is being told to sell his house in order to satisfy a debt he has yet to pay to someone who he got into a bad automobile accident with.

Alise Smith won a $159,000 judgment against Burress and he has yet to pay her, and a judge has now ordered the sale of the house to satisfy the debt. His Virgina Beach home, worth $460,000, is a 5-bedroom, 3.5-bath pad will hit the auction block April 23rd.

Maybe this will be the end of Burress’ troubles as he has recently re-signed with the Steelers to continue the career that was curtailed when he was imprisoned for a gun charge, several years ago.
