The so called war on women continues to rear its head; this time in the workforce. According to an analysis by the National Partnership for Women and Families, women are making less than men in 97 percent of Congressional districts. Nationally, women are making .77 cents to a man’s dollar on average.
As it relates to congressional districts, 97 percent would mean that only 13 members of congress represent districts where women are making more or equal pay to men. In some instances, women are being paid less than men in the same exact job.
