BE Industrial/Service Companies sophomore company Harris & Ford L.L.C moved up 12 places from No. 39 after it grew its 2008 revenues by 46.7%. Founded in 1994 by Tim Harris, Joe Ford, and Chris LaMothe the chemical distributor is Indiana’s second largest minority-owned chemical distributor.

Harris & Ford, with a 65,000-square-foot facility, can attribute its growth in part to its location. From its Indianapolis-based headquarters, within proximity to six major highways, the company ships products from chemicals to cosmetics nationwide.
