A 4-year-old girl was fatally shot while she sat in a car outside her grandfather’s home in Miami, the Associated Press reports.
Detectives think another child who was sitting in the white Mercedes Benz with the victim, Rahquel Carr, pulled the trigger. The gun apparently belonged to the owner of the car, who wasn’t present.
The children were waiting in the car in North Miami-Dade county on Saturday evening as an adult stood nearby outside At least two other children were in the vehicle at the time, all believed to have been younger than 10.
