Making its debut on the BE Industrial/Service list, Jenkins Construction Inc. is the second largest minority-owned real estate developer in Michigan.
The Jenkins Construction specializes in general contracting, design build construction and program management. The construction powerhouse’s portfolio includes Ford Field, a $430 million joint venture; Greektown Casino and Hotel, valued at $140 million; Wayne State University Welcome Center, valued at $13 million; and the Museum of African American History, valued at $32 million.
In 2008, the company earned $58 million in revenues.
The Detroit-based business is expanding its reach to include offices in Atlanta, Chicago, and Orlando.
