Founded by Timothy J. Adams in 1989, Systems Application Technology Inc. is the fifth largest minority-owned company in Maryland. Systems Application Technology provides an array of technical services to the federal government including program management, engineering, logistics, operations and maintenance services.

The Largo-based company operates live fire test and training ranges for the U.S. Army and U.S. Navy; provides full contractor logistics support for unmarked vehicles, watercraft, and aerial targets; and serves as the primary acquisition agent for the U.S. Navy’s physical security program on bases worldwide.

In 2008, the company reported revenues of $45.3 million.
